What are the daily treatment steps?
Summary
From Day 3 on, sign the patient in, mark the Appointment Book, date the ledger and Travel Card, treat, then update Medisoft and file everything.
- 1Patient signs the Sign-In Sheet.
- 2Mark the Appointment Book red to the left of the name.
- 3Date the Patient Ledger (Gold) Card and the Travel Card.
- 4Notify the marketer that the patient has arrived.
- 5After treatment, confirm services rendered and obtain the patient signature on the Daily Treatment Notes.

- 6Transfer service codes from the Travel Card to the Patient Ledger Card.
- 7In Medisoft, go to Activities menu > Enter Transactions (or click the Transaction Entry speed button). Select the patient's Chart and Case at the top of the screen.

- 8In the Charges grid, click New, enter today's date and the service codes, then click the MultiLink button, pick the MultiLink code and click Create Transactions.

- 9Click Save Transactions, then Update All so the balances refresh.

- 10Transfer the new account balance to the Patient Ledger Card and verify balances match — use the Quick Ledger speed button (F7) to read the running balance.

- 11Enter service codes and daily charges into the Appointment Book.
- 12File the cards alphabetically in the travel-card tray.
On re-exam day, the CA documents vitals and the patient sees the doctor first.
