What do I do for a paperwork-only visit?

Summary
If no services are provided, do not sign the patient in, do not place them on the Appointment Book, and do not issue a new-patient number. They count as a new patient only on the day services are actually provided.
- 1If no services are provided: do not have the patient sign the Sign-In Sheet.

- 3Do not issue a new-patient number.
- 4If the patient already signed in but receives no services, draw a single line through the name on both the Sign-In Sheet and the Appointment Book.

- 5Count the patient as a new patient on the day services are actually provided, and record the rescheduled date.
- 6If the patient will not return, add them to the Doctor Calls section of the Blue Sheet with an explanation in CA comments.
